We were very saddened today to learn of the passing yesterday of Ron (better
known as Ronnie) Brecknell. He was a true gentleman on the gliding scene and
respected by all. He loved to come out to Nrm and fly around whenever he got
the chance and we will remember him with great affection. Anne

Thanks Anne it is news we never like to hear. I enjoyed competing against him
in the 90's of course I seldom beat him please give my condolence to his family.
