Hi Lumpy,
Looks like Calfinn in NSW have them - 02 9548 5350, The product also seem to
be readily available on eBay Australia.
If all else fails, I suggest that it might be worth your while to have a
chat to Max Hedt (03 5381 0844). He might have something similar, or be able
to make you one (or
Hi Leigh,
Your comment reminded me of when I was I Pennsylvania many years ago. “A” might
stand for Anarchy or Avalon, but it can also stand for Amish. This sect

names they gave to their settlements were “interesting”,
Yeah, it can happen, but only on good blue days, when your normal inter-thermal
glide speed is about 100 knots or so, and you are already on, or close to,
final glide . If your VNE is say 135 knots, and you find/stumble upon a nice
energy line in the blue, you can be at VNE surprisingly
Hi Mike,
As usual, good robust discussion.
Re the 3 km finish circle for competitions, please CAREFULLY re-read Matt

My comment is that this arrangement "just did not happen", but is in fact
the end result of a process of evolution that spans many years of
Hello Noel,
My, you ARE becoming vocal in your old age! Just joking: Thank you so much
for that valuable information. Quite fascinating!
I suspect that you are not quite right re CURRENT requirements for display
of rego on fin. Display on the fuse is now actually an alternative offered
by CASA.
Hi All,
Having looked at the video, and thought about this for a bit now, I will
posit just one thought, given that no earlier postee has even touched on
it.
If the images are real, then the pilot is totally fu*ked in the head.
The flyboard is one thing, and although I have not looked

That is a good lead. However what is the problem with Amazon USA? I see that

Hello Noel.
Good questions.
A little time has now passed.
My first thought was that Pam Kurstgens might respond. However as she is a
member of these forums, and has not responded, it is likely that she does not
know.
To the best of my knowledge, Terry Cubley is our rep to, and also

Richard has got it basically right as far as I can see. However it is (of
course), all a bit more subtle than that. There are two emergency scenarios
that revolve about the boots. In the first scenario the boots are very well
fixed to machine, so it is of course totally impossible to fall off.

Hello Ross,
Yes! I totally agree with all your comments. Well done all.
Having said that ..
Re the Narromine Gliding Club, I have to ask, was this great effort financially
rewarding, given the small entry list?
I also have to ask the same question of the Wimmera Flying Club, who

Mike,
All good logical theoretical stuff. Perhaps funding is an impediment to
doing what you suggest re data collection? I seem to recall seeing some
rather gripping video on this - Maybe from NCAR?
However, would it be true to say, that all the models are accurate enough to
predict that

Given the entry number limit , and how it is being tested, can we please have
