I can take a look on my Mac (probably some time tomorrow), but it is not Sierra. We haven't really upgraded any machines, or made a CMake release since Sierra was updated. I will try to dig around a little and see if I can spot anything, and ask our Mac-based CMake people. For now I am guessing you can turn it off and build or does it fail later when AvogadroApp tries to find the libs?
