Hi,
The battery indicator in the systray is not visible anymore since I
upgraded to Ubuntu 12.04. I attached /proc/$(pidof awesome)/fd/2 - it sais
something about the indicators, but I'm not sure what's to be fixed.
Any idea how to investigate why it does not show up?
Thanks,
Alex

The battery indicator is missing, there is no empty space. I do see the
network, bluetooth, keyboard profile and Dropbox indicators, at the left of
the current date.
Is gnome-power-manager (or xfce-power-manager) running?
This is probably a pretty awful bug report, but I was wondering if
anyone else was encountering periodic segfaults with Awesome? I can't
find any particular cause, it just happens occasionally
I don't have awesome compiled with debug flags, so this is the best
stack trace I can do:
Continuing.

You need to type bt or bt full at the prompt after the segfault to get a
backtrace.

So https://github.com/pavouk/lgi is the one and only true answer. (At
least AFAIK, perhaps somewhere a more official git repo is hiding? ;-))
Please don't forget to let me know if you find the more official one,
I'll switch to it too
