tag switcher does not accept clicks after resolution change with xrandr

Hi, I have a quite annoying problem: once I change the resolution with xrandr, the desktop switcher buttons stop working. I can not click on them, I can only switch between them with the keyboard. Same happens with the layout switcher button on the top right. Did anyone observe the same problem?
