Hi Pankaj,
There is no option named Packing slip lines on Stock parameters (Inventory
module) -- Setup -- Parameters -- Stock dimension (Inventory dimension) tab.
In inventory module, this Tab is meant for inventory module related journals.

Hi James,
In Axpata version (Indian localization) prior to Ax40 SP2, there was an option
to post TP invoice under posting button.
But now that has been removed in SP2 (Indian localization) and hence it
requires another process to post the invoice journal manually for Third party
vendors.
Hi Kavitha,
As i have checked, perhaps there is no other option to do the same in single
step.
If this is required by client, then this should be customized.
Thanks,

I want to import stock into Ax 4.0 SP2. For this I have imported a movement
journal and lines. At the time of posting, it fails as it is looking for a line

Yes This kind of coverage is possible.
In Inventory Management = Setup = Dimensions = Dimension Groups.
Select you dimension group that you are using,
Under storage dimensions activation setups = In overview tab, select
Warehouse ( ensuring warehouse is active)
In General Tab = Coverage,
after you import journal you can copy it and post the journal which you copy it
