Hi All,
I noticed that if I compile (in wondows) axis2/c with ssl-support enabled, the
openSSL dlls (ssleay23.dll and libssl32.dll) have to be in class path in order
for a web service client call to be executed properly, enen if the call is not
using https/SSL. If the dlls are not in the
I don't think this is too critical. I'd stick with what we currently have.
12MB isn't huge.

Shouldn't this branch be 1_4_1 and not 1_4?
I downloaded the source distro and tried to build it. But since some of the
tools jars (like axis2-maven-plugin) are not in the maven repo yet, I
couldn't test the build.
I assume some one checked source distro, in a fresh machine, with mvn
targets.

Surely 1.4.1 is a point in time (r684402) along the 1_4 branch, and
that will be tagged as 1_4_1 if this vote succeeds.

You should first build maven-mar-pluging, maven-aar-pluing artifacts in the

I believe Charitha did test the source build on a clean machine. Thats
how we figured out that the docs were not copied to the source build.
He had to build axis2-mar-maven-plugin before building the release.
Thanks,
Keith.

Hi,
Thanks for the feedback. Charitha checked the source distribution and he
came across these two issues which are reported in the JIRA [1]. We solved
the second issue and as we have a work around [2] for the first issue , we
didn't fix it in 1.4.1. We decided to use the 1_4 branch instead
