mention SOAPMonitor. I can't seem to find that in Axis anywhere, or even on
Google. What is it, and where can I get it one of them thar thangs? I was
only using TCPMon because that's all I was aware of.

contained in there with no external (non Java core) dependencies. Is this
agreed upon as a good structure? I didn't want to break this in adding my
functionality (hence my inclusion into tcpmon's core), but perhaps now might
be the time to o
e (and available as JMF with earlier
JDKs).
AFAIK most platforms (definitely win32) support a default MIDI setup and
have 16 instruments mapped, including #10 which has dozens of cool
percussion noises.
