Hi there,

when starting with Axis I created a class that returns Arrays of JavaBeans which itself contain simple types and also Arrays of Strings.

I deployed this service with server_config.wsdd containing type-mappings and bean-mappings

When calling methods within the browser I got correct results. However when trying to generate a WebService-Control in BEA Workshop I got errors as the WSDL seemed to be somewhat incorrect.

I tried to change something with the mappings but it did not work out.

Now I wanted to either create a WSDL and go from there or create an Java Interface and go from there:

1. First I do not know which approach makes more sense for me?

2. Regardless of which approach I would go for, I get an error message when trying to use WSDL2Java or Java2WSDL

It says (in both cases):

log4j: WARN No appenders could be found for logger (org.apache.axis.i18n.ProjectResourceBundle)

log4j: WARN Please initialize the log4j system properly

I have a log4j.properties file in the \lib-folder along with the axis.jar containing WSDL2Java and Java2WSDL

Does someone know what I am supposed to do?

Thanks in advance

Florian
