I have been
unsuccessful in installing Axis on WebSphere 3.5.3. I get the
infamous
"The requested URL
/axis/services/AdminService was not found on this server"
error.
Has anybody been
able to deploy Axis on WebSphere out there? Would you please send a list of
instructions? Please include the following information:
1. Where did you
copy the axis directory? The libs? The sample classes?
2. Did you have to
set the Servlet Engine Mode to Full Servlet 2.2 Compliance Mode? (see http://www-4.ibm.com/software/webservers/appserv/doc/v35/ae/infocenter/was/030302a.html)
3. Did you add the
axis jars to the dependent classpath? To the application servlet
classpath?
4. Did you add the
sample classes to the dependent classpath? To the application servlet
classpath?
5. Did you have to
create a webapp file for axis by hand or through
the console?
6. Anything else
that must be done.
