Hi all,
I am thinking through bug

Currently no way to find wine apps in dash other than searching them
from search bar, and I think it would be helpful with some good
suggestions on the matter.

Friends, don't you find any problem with the algorithm used to search in the
software center. Giving you an example:
Let us search for MultiGet. When I write Mult in the search MultiGet
appears at the 6th position. As soon as I add 'i', I see that surprisingly,
MultiGet now appears at 10th

The angle of escape in the drop-down menus is a real problem, as described in
the seven-minutes article. I hope Ubuntu fixes this soon as possible.

Hi,
Haven't used Mac much, so I have a question:
How do they manage to get the menus all accessible if they are wider
than in Ubuntu?
I've had applications in which I couldn't reach all of the menus because
of a small screen size on my netbook and many menus?
On bigger screens there aren't those
You should probably file a bug on launchpad.
I can't seem to replicate it, but you should have a look at doing that
anyway. They'll be able to tell you what is causing the problem, and either
get it fixed (if it's a bug) or tell you how to fix it (if it's specific to
your machine).
Run this
One could argue that the current system looks bad in Gnome 2 as well, like
it does on that other OS!
In all seriousness, I think a Wine lens is definitely the way to go. The new
APIs in 11.10 should make it relatively easy to get a scope and lens up and
running.

Don't Windows applications run by accessing the .exe file created
during the install?
Would it be possible to tell Unity to only search for .exe files
installed under the Wine directory?
This would remove the issue of finding other files such as

I don't know, man... I'm kind of suspicious. You know what they say, Jack of
all trades...
I think for this to happen desktops would have to die, and maybe even
notebooks, since the way you handle a desktop PC and a tablet is so
different. The dynamics are so... Not the same. I don't know.

Hi Javier! You need to free the GSlist *accounts_list with:
if (accounts_list)
g_slist_free (accounts_list);
before setting it to NULL.

Thanks for the patch!
It's definitely better this way, although I think it'd be best if it were
executed lazily - ie keep the get_version () method and set the priv-version
variable there the first time it's used, otherwise if (priv-version != NULL)
just return it.

It depends... if error is != NULL it enters the first if but not the second, so
accounts_list is set to NULL and not free'd. Now, it could be that if error is
!= NULL then accounts_list is NULL and it does not need to be free'd, so your
code is not leaking.
