The Homem's in my family changed it to Homen. Many (including females) are
still using the Homen surname. My Homem's came from Santa Luzia, Angra do
Heroismo, Azores, Terceira, Azores...at least as of 1883.

We are transferring the databases of CCA website to a server with more
capacity.
We regret the inconvenience, but we believe that the transfer will be

It probably is but the 'ãe' is not showing nor Magalhans. I took it as
written Magalhos and in facts noted the current form Magalhães. I will be
tracing it and see if I can find another record to confirm one or the other.
