Hi Kathie,
I'm wondering now if your Michael J. Enos was my 2nd great-grandfather John
Enes/Enos Vargas's brother. It has been said his father's name was Joseph,
but no one can find anything about him. Do you have any info on Joseph and
Frances?
Thanks,
Sami

Yes, that is correct. By default when you view the matches on your FTDNA page
it is all matches regardless of what project they may or may not belong to.

Cheri and Rick,
Thank you for the replies. I understand if they match on FTDNA, these are
the same matches that would be on Azores DNA Project. I am not sure if
they want/are ready to join the Azores DNA project.

FTDNA data base. If you want to view only people on the Azores DNA Project you
can filter for that. If you are not getting matches with people with known

I don't understand your question. Join them to the Azores DNA Project and
I'll take a look and email you off list since these are matches to
someone's personal kit.
Log into the FTDNA page with the kit number and password.

I have a question. Someone I helped who is at least 1/2 Portuguese took a
family finder DNA test. Thus far, not on the Azores list matches. On the
matches that did come back, would these be the same people on the Azores
matches list or would there be more if they were on the Azores matches
Oh Joy! Technology waits for no man! LOL

Also if you are buying a new PC get one with a 64 bit operating system. The 32
bit systems are being phased out and all new software is designed for the 64
bit systems. All the old software you have that was written for earlier
versions of Microsoft Operating system software (Vista and earlier)
Fantastic! Thank you.

You can still buy external CD/DD players for your computer pretty cheaply. I

Hi Everyone
I have added some important new resources to the Azores GenWeb site.
First, is a database for Flamengos, Pico, contributed by Martine FERRERE:

I upgraded after backing everything up. A couple of things I've noticed.
#1 When installing I did not want FTM to check Family Search.org records
automatically so I unchecked that. But, I can still select check Family
Search.org if I choose. Sometimes the web search feature doesn't check the
