Rosemarie,
Here is the link to the death record I am speaking of (Maria de Sousa right
hand side, bottom of rec talks about Pascoal de Sousa and Francisco de Sousa
Goulart her grandson and son). You can see the format of how the priest is
writing in these relatives that preceded them in death:
Sorry, meant to type page 41, right side Theresa (Teresa)

anyone assist? See top of folio 41. I think the date is 25 January 1734.

Kathy,
I visited Sausalito a couple months ago with hope to find anything on my family.
The Portuguese Historical Society there was a tremendous help to me.
They found a lot of my relatives in these documents, and the info it provided
was incredible.
I finally have found where they came from. I
Glad the Azores Conference in Salt Lake City, UT was a success.

You left yourself out.
Hello All,
I just was researching one of my lines in Sao Jorge and got another
generation back in the early 1700's but I did so in a rather unique way,
and thought that I would share because it may hep someone. Unknowingly, I
did so exactly the same way as previously done by Marcio Borba.
I
Thanks!!

It's Build 36 Raw Data Concatenated.
Just curious as to why you are going out to Gedmatch. I'd upload my
complete tree (Gedcom) from my genealogy program and activate the Parental
Matching feature at FTDNA to see what those tools do. Then maybe I'd
consider the advanced tools at GedMatch.
Cheri
I am trying to create a Gedmatch. Which option do I choose?
*Downloading from FamilyTreeDNA*:
1. From the pull-down menu “My DNA,” select “My FamilyFinder,” and then
“Raw Data.”
2. Select the following options.
1. Build 36 autosomal raw data and
2. Build 36 X chromosome data
They are based off of Latin root words.
Sept = 7
Oct = 8
Nov = 9
Dec = 10
Therefore, 7bro = September, 8bro = October, 9bro = November, and 10bro =
December.

Yes if you don't use it you lose it. I took off for a few years and
recently back researching okay all my tools are on old computer which is
broke. I checked on Kathy's page and I don't see it so anyone have 8bro
9bro meaning for months and can give me please?

The old "You don't use it, you lose it."
I've been doing PracticePortuguese.com since last fall, so almost a year. I
try to do it at least twice a week, if not more. I still struggle with the
vowels, but things I could not understand a year ago I can now understand.
Some words that end in a vowel
Good to know. My biggest issue has been not having anyone to practice talk
with. So a lot that I have learned is lost somewhere in my head lol... I
have an app on my ipad I use sometimes but really need to start getting
back to being more comfortable speaking. I used to be able to count to 100
Julzz, I'm using PracticePortuguese.com to help learn more Portuguese. It's
a monthly subscription ($12 USD) and it's European Portuguese done by Rui,
a native, and Joel, a Canadian. They have the Learning Center and Podcasts.
You should check it out. Cheri

some Portuguese now lol. I lived in Lisbon for over 6 months. All my cheat
