The record says he had already been baptized. My father was baptized when
he was 26 years old, he was baptized, had his confirmation and got married
all on the same day, lol.

Would they baptize someone after the fact? I know of someone who is being
married that is jumping through hoops for the Catholic Church because it is
important to his future wife.

I think this is an adoption or maybe he was an "exposto" and the parents
are claiming him. Filiação means adoption or designation of parents. It
says he was originally baptized in 1852, I tried looking for the original
record but couldn't find it, they may have removed it. I did not find any

This one is very confusing. It seems to be saying something about confirming
him being born some thirty years earlier and that the two people mentioned are
his parents.
