Do you live in Beira?
I went to Beira, Sao Jorge this summer and took pictures of the town and church
for my Mom because my ggrandfather Jose Pereira was from there as was my other
ggrandfather Jose Victorino Bettincourt. I haven't found their baptismal
records yet but anxiously
When I looked at the dates on this I noticed that Manuel b. 1871 is said to
have fathered his 1st child at 6 years old.mistake?

exposta or exposto for the orphans. Perhaps you could look at those births for

was the daughter of Jose Rosa Peixoto b. 1808 and her mother was Mariana Luisa
Nunes.Angelica also had a sister who was Mariana Luisa Carmo.the next
time I see this name is 1755, Candelaria ...Maria Antonia
the most frequent name on Sao Jorge in all the different
areas on line to research.

235the second one.what does it say? Near the end of it it looks like

Maria Oliveira also has Immersion Classes that take place
