If you are 3C1R on paper, yes, a 55 cM block does support that. X matches need to be 10 cM or more. Otherwise, it's too far back. You share 5.3 cMs with Pat on the X. So don't bother trying to figure that one out. You need get Pat's lineage into your tree and upload a new Gedcom to FTDNA. Link Pa

Hi, Finally, an identified match – of course, with questions. My FTDNA tree is updated, X-Match chart printed/colored, other visual aids created and now exploring others’ trees. The match is to Pat Nostrome (I think part of the project)? Per FTDNA, the numbers are: 55 shared CM; 28 longest
