According to the CCA site it is free for personal use as long as there is
no lucrative means in sight. And must reference its source always.

But making an index for everybody is not personal use. I'm not a lawyer,
but stuff like this makes me nervous. Nick G can do what he wants. I
wouldn't distribute my indices publicly.

Thanks for letting me know.. I wasn't aware of this. This data wasn't on
FamilySearch, but on culturacores.azores.gov.pt. I figured since the images
are freely browsable there wouldn't be an issue with creating indexes to
help others.

I'm guessing you didn't get permission from FamilySearch or the Azorean
government to do this. So, I'd just keep the index and whenever you see
someone mention Santa Cruz on Graciosa, you can let them know you have the
death index.
