I'm afraid they do not link up, at least as far as the records go. It is interesting that a third brother, Manuel da Costa Loureiro, also used the name Columbreiro. I suspect that one of his grandparents are Columbreiro's, perhaps from Achada, where many early Columbreiro's settled. In fact I
