Looking for the meaning of Era ut supra. I believe it might be Latin for
"true and correct" but not sure. The words commonly appear on baptismal
and marriage entries. Anyone like to comment?

Did your grandmother Maria do Carmo de Figueiredo come to the US? Or did
she live and die in Brazil? If she came to US, where did she settle here?
Who did she marry? Did Antonio/Rosa have any other children? I am not
seeing any Macuco, Brazil records online but I could be wrong.

The birth you provided isn't specific. It only says Portugal and that could
be the continent, the Azores, or Madeira. If the parents are the immigrants
to Brasil, you'll have to use Brasilian immigration sources to figure out
where in Portugal (or Azores or Madeira) that they came
