Check the record in the previous pages and the next ones, where Bernardino
José de Sousa is refered to as the «sacristão desta igreja», so probably
the priest had his mind in another place when he wrote that record.

Top Right, Francisco. I’m confused on this one. I think it says that
Francisco is the son of Joao Jacinto de Resendes e Jacinta Umbelina. Paternals
are: Joao Jose de Resendes e Maria Francisca. Maternals are: Joao Jose da
Camara e Antonia Jacinta. Then comes my confusion. Towards the very
