Ashkenazi Jews and people with ancestry from the British Isles are the two
groups that I believe test the most. I have quite a few matches on
Gedmatch with Eastern European surnames a few I have verified
as Ashenazi Jews. There will be more Portuguese matches as more Portuguese
people
Yes, the Jewish genealogists made a HUGE push to get DNA tested hence they
seem to the group with the most matches. Not unusual at all.

Greetings,
I've been using Gedmatch the last week and have begun to really enjoy the tools
available for admixture information. I have tiny bits of admixture in my Middle
Eastern segments that are very intriguing..my primary European H3 admixture
is also very interestingso much yet to
Is it possible to use gedmatch if you have 172 pages of ftDNA family finder
matches?

Yes, Tish, but your upload may take longer or you may need to try a couple
of times to get it uploaded.

I found this really interesting link that you manually type in your
Eurogenes K15 Admixture proportions the calculator then uses ancient DNA
samples for comparison of your own DNA however for some reason I'm unable
to get to step 4 if someone figures it out let me know.
It's very frustrating. I'll try again, and yes Doug, I do have that many
matches. It's all on my father's side. For some reason ftDNA is top heavy
with Ashkenazi Jewish people.
