Yes, indeed. My family, as I recognize, from my great grand father, Antonio Carvalho Noia. He died before I was born. I remember my great grand mother. I met her in about 1962/3. She died a short time later & her son, Antonio Jr. died a short time later. My great grand father is # 9 was

Well, my information came from you! The Fraga line. My great grandfather was António Carvalho Noia. Number 9 on your genealogy list. He married Maria Nunes. They lived in Oakley,CA. I Am still unclear how the Noia names comes in to play. I don’t see who brought the Noia name into the mix.

My grandfather's family is Noia from Flores. I have all of the Flores history and geneaolgy books in print. The consensus is that there are two Noia lines. One leads back to Sao Miguel and before that to Porto Santo, Madeira. This line is centered in Santa Cruz. The other Noia group comes from
