Kingmedicalarts, Can you supply more information on your Tracado family? I am tracking my cousin's family who were originally Moniz from Maia, Ribeira Grande. By the mid 1850s some were using Moniz Thomas, Moniz Tomas, and Moniz Tracado. One group stayed in Maia, but one line splintered off to Porto Formoso.and used the surname Moniz Pacheco.
We have found the Moniz Thomas, Tomas, and Tracado's on the East Coast of the US, Canada, and Brasil.
