Re: [AZORES-Genealogy] Re: Anyone researching Botelho Feleja in either Maia or Porto Formoso ca 1900?

2019-11-02 Thread IslandRoutes

Tammy,
Is this the marriage index? I do have access to that. Thanks!

I do think I've found the missing link between the Botelho da Rocha of Maia
and the Botelho Gil and Botelho Feleja of Porto Formoso. If anyone is
interested in these lines, let me know. They are all connēcted to the same
root in Porto Formoso.

2019-10-24 Thread IslandRoutes
Diane,
Are you still interested in sharing information on this line? Last week, I
picked this up again. I realized that the Gil Botelho of Porto Formoso is
a cousin of my Botelho da Rocha of Maia. The Botelho part originates in
Porto Formoso in the 1700s. I think the Botelho Feleja/Faleja come from
your Gil Botelho, but I can't find the link.

Hope to hear from you as it's driving me nuts trying to find the missing
link in either Porto Formoso or Maia ca 1820.

Thanks,
Mel

[AZORES-Genealogy] Re: Anyone researching Botelho Feleja in either Maia or Porto Formoso ca 1900?

2018-02-20 Thread IslandRoutes
Julio,
Thank you for this information! So the Botelho Feleja line leads back to
Porto Formoso. This is an important clue. It means either I am related to
this DNA match on my Porto Formoso line sometime in the 1700s or it's
through the Leocadio da Ponte line.

Thanks!
