I went to the Civil Registry on Sao Jorge years ago. I wanted some birth and death records. They would not search, but I had at least about dates. We were able to find all the records I wanted. My family is primarily from Faial, then Pico. We will be visiting those islands and Sao Miguel. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
