The guest internet access probably goes over a VPN tunnel to France, though. Peter Possibly, but I don't think so. I maintain their IT so unless their little box that does the ticket allocating magic has the VPN tunnel going to France, which I'm 99.9% sure it doesn't, it should be fine.
