Hi there all I was trying to run an archive of my 2 servers that BackupPC backs up - Localhost (Server1) + Server2 - The GZIP archive ran for exactly 1200.0 min, then BackupPC reported an error message and aborted - "aborted by signal=ALRM"

I'm mentioning this because it took me a little bit to figure out since the BackupPC .z files are in a raw libz format that is not recognized by file / gzip / etc. but the solution is very simple. The procedure is exactly the same as using BackupPC_zcat to extract files on the command line. _
