Well I'm trying to following to see if it finds any files that need to be transferred:
I created a "user_backup" directory and then restored the last known good backup to it And then: rsync --dry-run -ruh --checksum --existing /home/user_backup /home/user The --checksum means it's very slow but I'm hoping it provides the desired behavior. Thanks, Richard
