I tested backup f
SMB. All shares are on the same disk and the same partition.
I tested backup from these servers to another BackupPC in remote
location, backups are shown correctly in this another BackupPC server.
Will try to test in reverse direction.

, the same version, same
config, no problems at all.
Localhost tar backups are shown properly. I have no other Linux machines
on that location to test.
Perhaps some ideas what to do. Or some more info needed?

Could I just ask, how do I do this? Sudo chmod 644
/var/log/backuppc/pool.rrd - yes
Perhaps this old workaround still works
grant permissions 644 (read by others) to /var/log/backuppc/pool.rrd

3.3.1-2ubuntu3 breaks pool graphs on the Status page
There are 3 patches in Browse.pm and Smb.pm files, from here
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/attachment.cgi?id=264=diff
And one change to backuppc config
$Conf{BackupZeroFilesIsFatal} = 0;
After that backuppc works with smb normally.

You should grant permissions 644 (read by others) to file
'/var/log/backuppc/pool.rrd
