Hi All,

I've got a problem with a new installation of BackupPC (version 3.3.1)
on CentOS 6, which is incapable of performing a direct restore via
rsync. Whatever I do I get the following error:

Error: Can't open/create
/var/lib/BackupPC/pc/live1.s4e.local/restoreReq.24365.0

I note from other postings that the CGI script needs to run as the
backuppc user, so I've configured apache to run using this user:

 6397 backuppc 20 0 156m 6648 1216 S 0.0 0.2 0:04.61 BackupPC
 6401 backuppc 30 10 137m 3520 1044 S 0.0 0.1 0:00.29 BackupPC_trashC
17652 backuppc 20 0 173m 3028 1380 S 0.0 0.1 0:00.00 httpd
17653 backuppc 20 0 173m 3000 1328 S 0.0 0.1 0:00.00 httpd

But that hasn't solved the problem.

I've also found references to SELinux causing problems, but this isn't
even installed.

Setting the permissions on the directory to rwxrwxrwx doesn't do any
good either.

The backups themselves are working perfectly and I can download tar
archives without encountering a problem. For reference,
/var/lib/BackupPC is using xfs.

Any advice gratefully received!
