I removed "--log-format=log:\ %o\ %i\ %B\ %8U,%8G\ %9l\ %f%L" from
$Conf{RsyncArgs} and logging
stops :)

No - XferLogLevel is set to 0.
I checked it twice :)
In the meantime I learned that it don't log anything if nothing changed within
a share.
So it looks like rsync_bpc logs any file verification.
Thr process looks like:
/usr/libexec/backuppc-rsync/rsync_bpc --bpc-top-dir /var/lib/back
