able to tell me if this is normal
I am running BackupPC V 2.1.2... I use
RSyncD as the backup mechanism... My backups take an extrodanary amount
of time to comeplete. in once case 28hours... And all this over

Both
side have a fair bit of ram... 1GB on the BackupPC side, and 2GB on the
Backup Client side, neither of whice seem to be "Filling up"
so I don't think it would be swapping this out to disk..However the
CPU usage on the BackupPC goes through the roof The full backups are

I set up BackupPC in November, and it seemed to work. I was able to back
up and browse successful backups, and all that good stuff.
Now, I went back to look at my backups of the server, and there are no
files in the backup folder. I can look at either incremental or a full
backup and see no fi

Hello list,
I'm running backuppc on a Debian host with 256MB RAM. With this "little"
memory I run into trouble backing up a host. The actual memory footprint
is 460MB, with 185MB hanging out in RAM. The rest swaps onto the disk.
My question: is this a resonable behaviour?
