at the moment. We are running Debian Lenny and BackupPC 3.1.0. The
data volumes since we upgraded to this version have seemed to just be
filling up at a constant rate.

You can use external hard drives for this nowadays and just switch out the
drives. In our setup, I have /home mapped to the external drive. We switch
out the drives weekly or so. When I do the switch, I do power off and power
