I've checked /var/lib/backuppc/log/LOG and this is the most recent
output. One thing which was done on this box was to remove a host from
the GUI (when it was working) and then to remove the backup files from
/var/lib/backuppc/pc/

expect to see - all the hosts except the one which was removed.
All hostnames are entered as DNS names and set as 0 for DHCP and with
backuppc as the user.
There is a hosts.old file there from around a month ago - same
Backuppc is running well and backing up other hosts. For some reason there
is one job showing under Current Running Jobs and Host Summary showing
'link running. I requested stopping the job, still showed some time after

I'm mostly concerned the job showed under Current Running Jobs and also
showed as completed in the logs.

ssh version 5.7 or greater should be handling hard links.
Unfortunately, the two off-sites that I checked are using version 5.3 .
There must be some turn-key system these guys all buy, and it is nowhere
near the version 6.4 that is on my fedora20 pc.
