Just ran into a situation where I’m getting a 504 Gateway timeout when
clicking “Browse backups” or an individual backup:
68.183.x.x 127.0.0.1 - admin [12/Sep/2019:14:34:38 +0100] "GET
/BackupPC?action=browse=myhost.co.uk=153 HTTP/1.1" 504 247 "
Your TL;DR: for ashift refers to ZFS record size, but ashift determines
block size (smallest I/O, with 12 meaning 4096 bytes to match common modern
hard drive sector size), not record size.
