be created for each of my clients full, diff and incr backups. These
volumes should also be stored on different disks/partitions based on

all right, thanks a lot. some changes to the sources
according to gethostid, gethostname, srandom and random
and installation of gcc (from sunfreeware.com) were
neccessary and it worked now!

i have tried version 1.36.3 but the error still appeared. BUT I solved the
problem finally :-) I update the HP StorageWorks Ultrium 460 Tape Drive with
latest firmware update. Now it works fine without errors. Quite interessting!!!

I´ve defined two jobs and two storage devices for each client, one
job/storage device for full and diff backups and one job/storage
device for incremental backups...
The reason why I did this is
Unfortunately, Bacula does not support what you are trying to do. The guys on
this list will help you do what you want using Pools -- one Job and one
Storage device.

we do full restores to a big local disks on a reguar basis. The
backups and the automated restores perform well except

Bacula creates a message record for each file beeing restored, which
ban result in a terrible lot of message entries during a full restore job.

You can set php's error reporting off (or restrict it to serious errors)
and Bacula-web works much better.
