Hello,

My attempt failed, but more worryingly than the configuration change not

Hello,
I writed a mail some weeks ago for a problem with my Sony drive (write
errors).
The drive is a Sony SDX-500C on a Adaptec 2940 Ultra SCSI.
Someone told me to upgrade the bios of the drive, which I did. It worked
fine for a week, but now I'm still having writing error messages :

Thanks!
When backing up to disk, you don't have to label the disk by hand
(that's why
LabelMedia = yes is set).
1- Do I have to delete the labels, or it will work with the label? Any
difference?
2 - I have the configuration:
Device Storage Label
/mirror/disk0 - File0
You think I can ignore the problem ?
When I list media you can see that the tape Weekly-0003 has not been
filled up completely (it was the tape with write errors ...)

Hello Daniel,
I'm impressed -- you are someone who really reads and follows the instructions
on the Web site, and you are even in advance of my email on this subject,
which I will send later this week.
Both of these are very valid request, and I am happy to tell you that I

Hi!
I want to reinitialize my catalog and I am doing:
/usr/ports/sysutils/bacula-server/work/bacula-1.36.3/src/cats/drop_sqlite_tables
/usr/ports/sysutils/bacula-server/work/bacula-1.36.3/src/cats/make_sqlite_tables
But the tables still exists, and all the data too.
Ideas?
Thanks,

Hello,
I am running bacula henbane-dir Version: 1.36.3 (22 April 2005) on
FreeBSD 5.4 and running into a problem. The jobs get hung up due to
either DEVICE BLOCKED message and/or cannot find appendable volume

I insert a new tape and format it using the mt command ( I know mt weof
Hi,
I'm going nuts with a Bacula installation I inherited. I've got a
volume, with VolStatus=Append. This corresponds to a tape in my
autoloader that I want to reuse as all the tapes are full and this is
the oldest tape in the jukebox.
I purged the db info for this tape and I get this message

This obviously concerns me, I don't want to be missing data from my

Whoops. I see now that I had one of my larger jobs commented out due to
a server re-install. Fixed, and this may bring me back up to 5 tapes.

About 10 days ago I wrote a message saying that I had some

At that time I didn't give information enough for someone to help me,
thanks Arno Lehmann for trying :)
