Trying to restore some files to a Windows client, running wx-console
on the Windows client, from an archive a few days ago I am seeing
these errors. I am running 1.39.26. The director has the directive
compression = GZIP6, and the archive was created with compressed
data.

I had ClientRunBeforeJob set to run a Ruby script on my Windows
desktop from testing long ago. I upgraded to the latest client
(nice installer by the way) and this would cause Bacula to exit
every time.
After removing the ClientRunBeforeJob instruction from the

It seems that a volume life time in bacula is in fact its life time in the
catalog database. So, I would like to know is there would be possible to
fully recycle a volume (restart to the beginning of the volume by deleting
the datas).

I've posted a source rpm for this for anyone wishing to do some test
builds. Personally I built SuSE only with no issues although I did
commit a change in the spec file from the tarball due to changes in the
sqlite scripts. The docs are still a placeholder at 1.38.11.

Does work with GNU make though. I must have just figured that Bacula was
one of those packages that only worked with GNU -- good to see that it
