Hi All Bacula Gurus :-)
I'm in need of your help.
I'm running Bacula server 2.0.3 on FreeBSD 6.1 p0. Have serveral nodes
(servers clients) that are backed up via my Bacula server.
But now when I add new nodes to backup I get some very wired problems.

Hi,
I update my system from 1.38.11 to version 2.2.6 / 2.2.8. My sd server is
connected via fibre channel with a tape library (HP MSL 6060) with 4 LTO-2
drives.
In version 1.38.11 i haven't any problem with the sd server and the drives.
In version 2.2.6/2.2.8, I have the following

Oops hello to everyone and especially Piero Giobbi, I must be dreaming or

configuration files so I forgot about it).
So, I just added /tmp to the Archive

Piero,
This is a difficult one to diagnose because it depends on how you configured
Bacula on your system with Leopard and MySQL. Moments ago, I just ran
configure, make and make install with Bacula 2.2.8 on Mac OS X Server
10.5.1(Leopard Server) and I am using PostgreSQL, not MySQL. I had no

bacula do not track or care about scripts running as before_backup

bacula care about files to backup
if 'external' script for some reason failed i does not mean it is
important for bacula.

Hello again Piero,
Sorry I don't have a MySQL installation with Bacula, otherwise I could help
you solve your MySQL problem with Bacula on Leo. All I can do is say that
there is for sure hope, because I have Bacula 2.2.8 on Leopard 10.5.1 built

Hi,
Can anyone help me answering these questions?
1.Whether Bacula supports any kind of fault-tolerance. If yes, what
are the schemes?
2.Whether Bacula supports any kind of Load-balancing. If yes, please
provide details.
Thanks,

Tape drive and tape changer are different scsi devices.
Well that's exactly what I'm tyring to figure out :)

Hello,
Is that possible, using bacula, to create two distinct pools to the same
client?
This way I would have two FileSets, with their respective volumes.
A pool would be the backup of a server's fraction, and the second one of the
other fraction
i.e.FileSet1
Volumes: part1Server_Full,
