Hello all i am having database problems again, have recently updated to Bacula
version 3.0.2 (installed from source on ubuntu 8.04). Tried to run
/etc/bacula/update_mysql_tables and got this error
This script will update a Bacula MySQL database from version 10 to 11

hello,
i noticed some strange behaviour when backing up
one of our linux hosts with bacula.
bacula allways backs up everything. if i run it
3 times in a row it allways produces the same amount
of files (Incremental backup)
at first i thought it may be because of some timestamps
missing..
but
I got the same error during my bacula3.0 installation on RHEL4. In my case,
workaround was to add '--disable-libtool' to the configure options. That
did not use libtool, which caused an error, but used ar instead (maybe). I
hope this will help.

Hi,
Hi all,
what is the best configuration to keep only the backup of:
* the last 7 days
* the last 4 sundays
* the last 6 31st days of the month
* the last 31st of December
?
You probably want separate pools for each retention period, so...
* the last 7 days: Define a DailyPool pool

Arno,
Are you talking about the Dell TL2000?
If so I currently have one working. Using a fiber channel interface.

Anyone know of existing Bacula 3.0.2 packages for these
two distros?
Blastwaves are old and I don't want to compile from source
on these production machines.
Thanks,

Let Crystal Reports handle the reporting -
Is this not possible/wise? No matter what I do, following the dvd setup
my backup stalls waiting for me to mount, then label media? I would rather
have bacula mount the location when it needs to write to it.
Thanks!
