Every now and then I receive error mails about missing files from verify jobs
where I can't find the problem.

Try something like

then you will want to look at the passwords. If that fails, then you

It's a common trouble on deb like distro, packager transform network bacula
solution to only localhost ready solution.
You just have to check everywhere in conf that you use a real qualified name
and replace localhost !
