Hello Friends, I Have a Server with ther folder /opt2, inside this folder i have many files and some files with de .gz extensions. In my Fileset config, how i can specify the director of bacula to get only the files with extensions .gz? remembering that I have to back up other folders within t

Hello James, >From what you say, my retention period is only going to be as long as the shortest Volume Retention I've specified in my pools. That is an astonishing bug I would have though, but doesn't seem to be exactly the case for me. Since I have disk volume pools with volume retention of onl

Hello Dermot, In the testing I've done I found that if I had one pool set to something ridiculous like 1 day then when the backup was written to that pool that retention period was applied to all copies of that particular job. As an example if I had a 3 pools with full backups being kept in a p

Larry, I have the same issue as you. I use the: Maximum Volumes = 30 in the pool to force it to start recycling volumes when it reaches this limit, rather than let the space run out. I'm not keen on the solution, as it's a fine balance between ensuring that it has enough volumes to complete the

[Bacula-users] Max Run Time?

Hey Either I am misinterpreting something concerning the Max Run Time directive, or there's a bug in checking it. Manual says: Max Run Time = The time specifies the maximum allowed time that a job may run, counted from when the job starts, (not necessarily the same as when the job was sched
