Try pulling down the latest git version of bacula 9.0.x .. I pulled it down and so far it politely asked for the next tape and patiently waited for it to be loaded. On 09/25/2017 12:59 AM, Phil Stracchino wrote: > On 09/24/17 20:24, Andrew Ryder wrote: >> Hello, >> >> I&#x

Yes you would lose everything on the tape if you set it to recycle. On 02/14/2016 10:56 PM, philhu wrote: > Wont i lose the 4 jobs on the tape ? > > If so, will bacula know it and re-backup the new items in those 4 savesets? > > +

There probably is a way to trick bacula into forgetting the incomplete job on the tape but i'm guessing that would require you to go in and monkey with the database entries for that tape. Probably safer to buy an extra tape and run the remaining jobs on it for the period. On 02/14/2016 10:56 P

Are you using the IBM Linux tape driver? If not, I'd suggest installing it vs the generic linux kernel's tape driver. http://www-933.ibm.com/support/fixcentral/swg/selectFixes?parent=Tape%2Bdrivers%2Band%2Bsoftware&product=ibm/Storage_Tape/Tape+device+drivers&release=1.0&platform=Linux&function=a
