I have noticed in my install of Bacula there is a WeeklyCycle schedule configured as follows: Full: 1st Sunday Differential: 2nd-5th Sunday Incremental: Mon-Sat Does bacula delete incrementals between Fulls and Differentials. If not what is the purpose of mixing Differentials and Incrementals

Have you checked your bacula-sd.conf on viper to see what the Address is set to? A quick test is to see if you can telnet from scorpion to viper on port 9103. A common issue is the SD server being set to address localhost. At this setting, clients cannot connect. On Thu, Feb 24, 2011 at 10:48 AM,

I am attempting to create a non-standard schedule on a computer which doesn't change very often. I would like to run a full every 2 months and an incremental every two weeks. However, Bacula complains saying the months or days must be contiguous. Is bacula not capable of accepting customized

Got a question and probably a simple 1. I have a 702 gigabyte volume where all of my backups will be stored. Going with the default settings in the volume pools of 50 gigabytes per volume I have created 14 volumes for a total of 700 gigabytes. The default file pool is configured for auto labeling

I have installed Bacula on a Linux server. I have successfully configured this server to be backed up by Bacula and the job runs properly. I have configured a second Linux client as well using a modified copy of the bacula-fd.conf from the first client/server. I have added the client successfully
