Mehma,
Sorry man wish that was the case. It was doing this on 3.0.1 and then I
decided that maybe an upgrade would help.
It was doing this when the database was on the local machine. I moved it
to its own machine and it was still slow. I have also upgraded the
kernel.
I will get our db
.
This is performing a restore to the raid-6 array. Not sure if this
information helps or hinders the issue at hand.
Thanks again for all the good suggestions.

Arno,
Are you talking about the Dell TL2000?
If so I currently have one working. Using a fiber channel interface.

Could you paste a copy of your bacula-sd.conf. The device and auto changer

I have found that if I load the tape into the drive then run the fill test it
will not give the WEOF error, but when it loads the second tape it will give
the WEOF error.
If I have any other tape in
the fill test without pressing ctrl-c.
I do not understand why does the btape test run 100% but the fill test fails?
Thanks for all the help

Hello List members,
I am new to Bacula and this mailing list. I have tried to do as much due
diligence as possible before crafting this e-mail.
Tape Drive is a Dell TL-2000 with a single drive FC-Channel Interface.
Using LTO-4 tapes
Qlogic QLE220 HBA adapter
Server is running Ubuntu Server x64
sees
the blank tape as unappendable in some way? It seems very happy to carry
on writing the tape and then verifying it at the end.
