Hi, I'm trying to setup a pretty complex configuration. I will be using 2 pools (Full and Incremental) for different dipartments so to be able to split-up files. Basically what I'm gonna do is define a "sales-Full", "sales-Incremental", "marketing-Full", "marketing-Incremenal" etc... My quest

Hi, I never did it, but it is one of the things I'm going to test in the near future. Although I will use DVD I think it will be more or less the same. I found an interesting file under the examples directory of bacula. It is called backup-to-cdwriter.txt.gz (under Debian you will find it un

Hi, If I remember correctly you should use lower case letters for units. In your conf you used a Upper case, wile Arno (in his example) used a lower case. Also it should be possible to restore to the original place (say z:/myfile.txt) if you modify to "/" the Where field. >> Job { >> Name

Indeed it seems that the problem is that I'm changing the FileSet. I added the "Ignore FileSet Changes = no" to my fileset to force the default behavior. so it should do a full backup. But it is not working. Any idea on what else to check? Thanks --

Thank you Arno for your answer. I think I found the issue (but I still miss th solution :) ) The problem is indeed in the fileset, as you pointed. I was looking in the wrong place. I can do incremental backups, but only in the directories that were present in the FileSet when I did the Full

Hi, First of all I must say that I'm impressed by the simplicity and power of bacula. I'm new to the world of backups, but I found it extreamly simple to setup a backup server at home. Now I was playing with Master Key and encryption. I can backup correctly, and restore using PKI, but I was
