Greetings,
I'm wondering if with the latest version of bacula it is possible to set a
maximum size for data taken by a single job backup, or even better by a
client, on the storage daemons.
The only new features that seems to be what I'm looking for is SpoolSize
directive. Anyone has tested

Hi,
I am having query about the volume size. In Pools config i have set Maximum
Volume Bytes to finite value (say 30Gb). I am having multiple 1Tb LUNs
partitions used for Storage. So when it reaches the max capacity i do a
manual change of disk, the last volume in append state goes in error state

Hello,
I would like that bacula truncate the backup. IMHO it is really important and
I'll explain you why.
Lets assume you backup multiple server, each server has is own backup policy.
You have a total of storage space of 100GB.
You have 10 server, each one with 10gb of space to be backed up.
I think this is a typical requirement of ISP as the server getting backup
are not under the Backup administrators control.
One way to do it is..
1. Create a storage resource dedicate to that client
2. Restrict the volume size to max value you want to restrict for that
client.
The above thing
