Hi,
While console ACLs seem to work somehow, I could not find a way to limit
the destination when restoring a job. Well in my example below it uses
restore-my but still I can modify restore-my to restore to any directory I
want (and thus posing a problem if the machine is shared among users).
earlier in the build output :
cannot find -lstdc++
urpmi libstdc++5-static-devel solved the problem.

Did fill tests with an Overland LoaderXpress LTO2 drive. The drive

Same drive connected to a Sun v240 running Solaris 9 got 15MB/s.
I am running bacula server on Solaris 9 Sparc. I downloaded the code
from blastwave.org and it is installed in /opt/csw/...
I share out /opt/csw to all our clients.
My question is can bacula work this way. /opt/csw has both the server
and client. Will this setup present any conflicts?
Thanks
I'm sure this is better at the list...
And I still don't see the output from ./configure.
If there isn't any output configure does not actually do anything, which
would, of course, be a problem itself, but until now I always got some
messages from configure.

I want to stop some services before launching the backup, how can I make
RunBeforeJob and RunafterJob run on the client (not on the director) ?

I seem to be having problems with the restore using the directory tree.
Everytime I try to restore using the directory tree, I get the following

I apologize for posting again, but just noticed that bextract has '-p' switch,
which I will try shortly and see what happens (will take a while

If you have any other suggestions (related to my previous mail), let me know.
Thanks once again.

I know that the spool directory is safe to clear out when Bacula isn't
running, but what about the working directory?
Perhaps temporrary directory cleanouts should be added to the
startup/shutdown scripts. :)

to create a new job.

Use the bconsole problem and type 'reload' at the prompt.

Hello,
I have Bacula configured on a Redhat Linux server with an SCSI attached

My questions is how can I tell what tape it is going to use next, or can

Yes -- it is just textual insertion (like #include in C, except that the @
doesn't have to be at start of a line).
