Hi,
I tested what happens if I run bextract on tape.
All files were there, so it looks like this is just

Now I like to backup to a standalone storage director on a minimal

To create a client only I found the option --enable-client-only
Is there some option to only compile and install the
Hello,
I have been searching the net a lot but I cannot find my answer.
Maybe some one here can help me out.
I want to have this backup schedule
Full backup the 1st of the month
A differential backup on 8,15,22,28 of a month.
Incremental backups on all the other days.

As far as I see, a recursive marking of a file pattern is not possible
withn bacula directly. The part in the help section mark mark
dir/file to be restored recursively, wildcards allowed means, that
you can add a file (or file pattern) in the local directory, or you
can add a directory,
Dear List,
We have a Seagate Scorpion DAT DDS-4 STD2401LW Internal SCSI Tape Drive

I have set Bacula to automount tapes. It does this sometimes but mostly
I have to manually mount tapes.
For some reason it does not automount although automount=yes is defined
in Bacula's config.
I'm having problems backing up a Novel network drive that's mounted on
Windows XP Pro. The strange thing is, is that when I first installed
bacula it was working fine then a few days later it just stopped
working. Also, I have another job that runs on this client that

Dear List
We run a verifyjob between a regular tape-backup and a catalogb ackup to
tape.
The first time the job was run as an initcalalog job to have an inital
verification state.
The purpose of the verify job is to asure that the data of the regular
backup is written to tape correctly. I fear

Hi,
We are using bacula with a file-storage.
Backups are running at every time of the day. The problem is when we want to
restore a file from the file-storage, the director waits on Storage FileStorage
to complete a running backup before he starts restoring.
Is it possible to make a extra

One of my tapes was physically damaged. I want to label another tape with
the same label so that it truly takes the place of the old tape. In other
words, I don't want to delete the old one and create a new one.
Can anyone tell me if this is possible?
Thanks in advance,
